Dr. Biggers earned her Doctor of Optometry, Cum Laude, from Salus University's Pennsylvania College of Optometry in May 2022. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York: College at Oneonta. During her time at Oneonta, Dr. Biggers was recognized for her academic achievements by becoming a member of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society in March of 2016.
Throughout her career, Dr. Biggers has shown a deep commitment to professional organizations. She is an active member of both the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA) and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). In recognition of her hard work and dedication, she has been honored with awards from both the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the SUNY Oneonta Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society.
Dr. Biggers has gained experience working in various optometric settings, including the Albany-Stratton VA Medical Center and the Northport VA Medical Center in New York, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, and Broward Eye Care Associates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition, she has worked as an Ophthalmology Technician in Amsterdam, NY, and served as an Optometrist at Optical Expressions in Berlin, VT.
Dr. Biggers has been practicing optometry since 2017 and is currently completing a Residency in Ocular Disease with an Emphasis on Glaucoma and Retina at the White River Junction VAMC in White River Junction, VT.
